Our Journey
The Family behind our delicious Shortbread
Mollie (Campbell) Clutton was our inspiration- born and raised in Glasgow. Highland dancer and kilt maker. She was also the worlds best shortbread baker and we continue using the same simple ingredients.
Ann Clutton started her culinary journey in England, cooking in country homes and in Vancouver with a successful catering business for more than 20 years. She is continuing on her entrepreneurial path with her love of baking and Mollie‘s shortbread recipes. Along with daughter Errin and help from the newest family baker Imogen Sugarplum Shortbread was formed.

We work with local suppliers to source the freshest and most authentic ingredients, and use old-fashioned techniques to ensure the highest quality. Our goal is to make your tastebuds happy!

Shortbread has always been part of our lives growing up, on special occasions, always the traditional flavour, Then used in our catering business. Now having spent many hours perfecting delicious and new flavours we are pleased to make it for you. To keep your shortbread at it freshest keep it in a tin any tin.. biscuit tins are great! Sealed cookie jars will work. Or wrapped in parchment. Or simply just eat it..... and order more.
